“...I’ve gotten booked out to cities I never
thought I’d touch by way of
my music. ”
Since “Bravery” dropped [in 2013]
I’ve gotten booked out to cities I never
thought I’d touch by way of my music.
I’ve performed in front of a great
number of wonderful people, from
entertainment majors to some of the
coolest and down earth supporters.
Gained support from Atlanta’s #1 Radio
Station for Hip Hop which is a blessing
and how could I forget this interview.
Your tracks have old school
influences in them whether that be
through your lyrics or
instrumentals, who from the old
school do you enjoy and why?
Yeah you can blame growing up in the
90s. Hip Hop and R&B was the wave in
that decade. Like I’ve already said Pac
and his production was so ryder and his
delivery just had so much aggression
and attitude. Outkasts’ funky sound will
always reign supreme in Atlanta, they
were my first ever taste of southern
funk. Jay-Z’s “Reasonable Doubt” was a
production classic in my eyes. Politics As
Usual, Dead Presidents and Cashmere
Thoughts are a couple of favorites.
