I don’t really tell myself anything
to be motivated. I’m motivated for
better days through working at
a bullsh*t warehouse and these
savage a** conditions I’m living
through. Thankful to be able to
make it day by day, but I get my
hunger through my conditions and
hearing other artist succeed and
being heard. Makes me believe that
my time is near.
Who, in your opinion, is the “OG”
of southern Hip Hop?
I think the OG of southern hip hop
has been Bun B hands down. He’s
definitely served as a uncle to the
game, pretty much adapting over
time to all of the souths sounds,
rather its been Texas or Tennessee,
he shows up, and shows out on
every track, while giving game.
What should we expect from your
upcoming project “The ghetto
Gospels or: Weed, Women, and
Cadillacs”
You should probably expect a lot of
Weed, Women, and Cadillacs on my
upcoming project. The Title is Called
“ The Ghetto Gospels of Weed,
Women, and Cadillacs and I named
it that after listening to artist such
as Scarface and Devin The dude.
I’ve always felt that they’ve made
Ghetto Gospel tunes that everyone
from any hood can relate to. So I
decided to create and album full of
Ghetto Gospel tunes that we all can
relate to. I thought it sounded dope
also so...
“I’ve been pursuing my rap career for the
past seven years...I started my journey
through producing. ”
