두피를 보호하는 네트 기법
원래 네트 기법은 중증 탈모로 고통받는 남성과 여성을 돕기 위해 두피 위 의 모근에 네트 ( 그물망 ) 을 얹어서 위빙을 하는 것인데 , cornrow 를 한 머리 위에 헤어네트를 얹어서 바느질 즉 Sewing 을 하는 동안 실이 당겨져서 머 리카락이 손상되는 것을 방지하는 가장 좋은 방법이다 . 이 경우 Cornrow 가 없는 부위에도 네트를 이용하여 위빙 헤어의 트랙을 꿰맬 수 있다 . 또한 헤어네트에 바느질을 하기 때문에 원하는 방향으로 Sewing 하며 스타일 링할 수 있다는 큰 장점이 있다 . 따라서 본인의 머리 위에 땋은Cornrow 의 방향이나 모양에 상관없이 다양한 위치와 방향으로 스타일링할 수 있다 .

브레이드 없이 바느질로 머리를 고정하는 기법을 Braidless Sew-in 이라 고 한다 . 이러한 기법은 플랫 트랙 ( Flat Track ) 혹은 스킵 트랙 ( Skip Track ) 이라 불리는데 , 글루 기법에서 잔여물이 남는 것을 선호하지 않거나 Cornrow 즉 머리를 장시간 땋은 상태가 잘 유지되는 않는 여성들이 사용하기 좋은 방법이다 . 이 방법은 실리콘 코팅이 되어 있는 마이크로 비드를 사용 하는 방법인데 , 머리카락에 섹션을 나누고 펜치로 비드를 두피 쪽으로 밀 면서 고정하면 된다 . 모발의 성장 속도에 따라 6-8주 동안 지속된다 .

Sew-in without braids ?
