가장 기본적으로 필요한 자료는 재고 수량에 대한 정확한 데이터가
필요하다. 왜냐하면, 매출 원가 계산이 필요하기 때문이다.
정확한 마진율 계산을 위해 먼저 매출원가를 알아야 한다. 매출원가
계산 방법은 다음과 같다. 기말재고는 연 단위일 경우 올해 12월 말
재고 수량, 월 단위로 계산할 때는 이달 말일의 재고 수량이다. 기초
재고는 연 단위일 경우 올해 1월 초의 재고량이고 월 단위로 계산할
때는 이달 초의 재고 수량이다.

To accurately calculate a gross margin, you need to know the cost of
goods sold. Cost of goods sold can be calculated as follows. Here,
ending inventory for the year is the dollar amount of inventory at the
end of December, and for the month, it would be on the last day of
the month. Beginning inventory for the year is the dollar amount of
inventory at the beginning of January, and for the month, it would be
on the first day of the month.
