to give advantages to babies, like enhanced intelligence and more muscle development, all of which is deemed possible with CRISPR, when underprivileged individuals would not have the same opportunities. Many people fear we could, in a way, give super abilities to future generations. Some are even convinced that the power of CRISPR could be used to make genetically modified soldiers to enhance military strength. However, CRISPR has a long way to go before it can be fully implemented in humans, but, ultimately, we still do await a world that ends cancers, terminates genetic diseases, and silences the debate on abortion with a snip of DNA. That miraculous world is bridged by CRISPR, and it is ours to forge through years of research and hope.
