20-22 June 2014, Knuston Hall, Wellingborough, Northants NN29 7EU
www.knustonhall.org.uk ◆ email: [email protected] ◆ tel: 01933 312104
Venue Knuston Hall is a Grade II listed building
with ‘Wi-fi’ access which sits at the centre of forty
acres of beautiful, undulating parkland, rising
from the lake past the main house through a
small wood towards Knuston Old Farm on the hill.
One of the delights is that no two bedrooms are
the same, some are a little larger than others and
for some, the view of the forty-acres of grounds
is a little more picturesque but all have tea &
coffee making facilities. There is a bar for informal
evening playing.
Directions The venue is situated in East Northamptonshire
on the B569 between the village of Irchester and the town
of Rushden and is sign-posted from the A45. Wellingborough
railway station is 4 miles away and is on the line from London
St Pancras. Bus number X47 serves Knuston Hall hourly leaving
from Midland Road (outside Swansgate Shopping Centre) about
15 mins walk from Wellingborough station. Get off bus opposite
the Alton Centre on Irchester Road (between Irchester and
Rushden) and walk back to lane on left leading to Knuston Hall
(about 7 mins walk from bus stop to Knuston Hall). It looks as
though bus doesn’t operate Sunday for return journey. These
bus details can be checked nearer the date.
The Weekend Registration is from 4pm and the
weekend starts with dinner at 7pm after followed
by class tuition. On Sunday after lunch there will
be a short informal concert and the weekend will
finish with afternoon refreshments at 3.30pm.
In addition to separate class tuition, there will be
a joint class session and depending on demand,
a choice of ‘Come & Trys’ and possible theorybased session. Also, if you have a ukulele, bring
it with you for some informal playing in the evening.

weekend is £245 single, £213 shared twin, £145 non-residen ѥ
