The time for graduation has come again!
This year, Alpha Omega Academy will be
holding three graduation ceremonies, one
virtual and two regional. This cap and
gown event is offered for all AOA
graduating students, and includes a
welcome to the students, a challenging
address to them, and then the
presentation of the diplomas. After the
regional ceremony, a reception is held to
celebrate the graduates. likely attend each regional event. The
virtual ceremony will be held on May 25,
2018 for students who are unable to travel
to the regional graduations. It will be held
live online for graduates to participate in
from anywhere in the world, giving the
graduates the opportunity to share their
accomplishment with family and friends.
The ceremony will have an address to the
graduates and a presentation of diplomas.
It will begin at 2 p.m. CT.
The two regional ceremonies will be held
in Allen, Texas, and Orlando, Florida. The
Texas ceremony will be at Cottonwood
Creek Baptist Church on May 11, 2018.
The Florida ceremony will be at Eastland
Christian School on June 8, 2018. Both
ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m. local time. Registering for the graduation involves
completing the online registration form
and contacting your Education
Coordinator with any questions or to pay
for the ceremony. The deadline to sign up
for the graduation is March 23, 2018. The
cost for a graduate to participate in a
regional ceremony is $170, and graduates
will receive a cap, gown and tassel. For a
virtual ceremony, the cost is $60 per
graduate. If a student is unable to attend a
ceremony but wishes to order a cap,
gown, and tassel, the cost is $45.
Along with the regional ceremonies, a Day
Away team building activity is an optional
choice for the students. This activity is
held at the Dave and Buster ?s restaurant
where there is a ?scavenger-hunt? type
game to get to know your classmates
more. There must be five or more
students to sign up for the event in order
for it to happen.
Overall, about 200-250 attendees will
cl ick the hat to register
for graduation!
