11,000 active
enrol l ments!

On February 7, 2018, according to Principal
Joe Bakker, Alpha Omega Academy hit 11,000
active enrollments. This means that there are
11,000 classes open and being worked on by
students.
?It?s a wonderful thing Alpha Omega Academy
is growing, and it?s good that parents are
choosing our school to provide an education
for their children. We are really excited about
Alpha Omega Academy hitting 11,000
enrollments! ? exclaimed Mr. Joe Bakker,
principal of AOA.
In 1992, when the need of homeschool
programs arose, Alpha Omega Publications
founded the academy. As Principal Bakker
said, ?The school was created to fulfill a need
for grading sources and record keeping
services within the homeschooling
community.?
Fast-forward 26 years, and AOA has students
in over 45 countries and 11,000 active
courses. The school is all over the world?with
Australia, South Korea, Japan, and the United
States having the highest numbers of
students. The United States currently has
2,404 students and Central America has 11
altogether.
People find out about AOA mostly through its
website. This way, they have easy access to
who we are and what we do, said Bakker.
Another way parents seeking a homeschool
program for their children discover our
academy is through other people. Friends and
family members spread the word about the
school.
This new milestone in AOA?s history is
something to be very proud of. The academy
has been around for a little over 25 years, and
it already has a large quantity of students and
courses, Bakker stated. The school?s
accomplishment is one that God, through His
glory, made possible. Right now, AOA is at
11,000 active courses; the academy will only
keep growing and keep helping students fulfill
their academic potential, along with
strengthening their faith in God.
