Picture-taking has been a longtime
favorite hobby of many people. From
antique pinhole cameras, or cheap
disposable cameras, to expensive digital
cameras, the love of photography has
been shared around the world. But
sometimes, especially for beginners, the
art of photography can be a little tricky to
master. All the do?s and don?ts of picture
taking can be hard to comprehend. Here
are 7 tips and tricks on how to take
pictures that will surely catch someone?s
eye!
1.Make sure t hat your camera is clean.
Before jumping right in to taking pictures,
you want to make sure that your camera is
clean and working properly. Always be
sure to keep it away from things that can
ruin it, such as water, food, or anything
that can potentially destroy it. You cannot
get a clear shot when the lens is smudged
or the SD card is broken. Be sure to keep it

stored away where it cannot be broken,
and don?t be afraid to read the manual to
get more of an idea in caring for it.
2. Take pict ures when t he t ime is right .
The Golden Hour ?is approximately
between one half hour before sunrise, and
one hour after sunrise? according to Mark
Hemmings of PhotographyPro. This is in
part due to the soft lighting. Another great
time is between 1 and 2 o?clock in the
afternoon. One very important aspect that
you want to keep in mind is shadows.
Shadows can make pictures uneven and
make things look cloudy.
3. Be all about angles! Taking pictures
with an angle to it can add some character
to the photo. This is especially important in
landscapes or people photo shoots. Maybe
come from the side or down below when
taking a shot, and see how it adds to the
picture.
