Student jobs include writers,artists, photographers, copy editors and page designers. If you are interested in being a part of the publication, please contact its faculty advisor, Mrs. Smith. Staff meetings are generally on the first or second Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m. Central time. The Student Center: The Student Center is a safe ?social media? for all students 13 and older. The Student Center is only open to those enrolled in AOA and is monitored by teachers. That way it stays safe. Students from all over the world can meet and connect on the Student Center. The Student Center also has groups you can join and start. The Blue Umbrella, the Cooking Club, and Writer?s Block all use the Student Center as a way to keep their members updated. Along with the consistent classes, AOA holds weekly classes including: study tips, weekly prayer groups, career path ideas, and more. A OA introduces new student club By Chloe P. A new club, called the P7 (Project 7) club, launched recently. This student-led Bible club is supervised by Mrs. Gray and is directed at the middle and high school students. With topics ranging from taming the tongue and friendships, to setting goals and prayer, the Alpha Omega P7 team hopes to encourage all of the club?s participants in their Christian walk. The group plans to meet at least twice a month. Presently, the club is meeting weekly. All meetings will be held on a Wednesday, at 1:30 Central Time. Stay tuned to the online classroom schedule in order to participate in P7.
