4 . Take the old flannel shirt and put it on the stick . Staple the bottom and the arms shut , then stuff the arms and body with straw before stapling and the remaining openings together .
5 . Put the overalls over the flannel shirt , then stuff the legs of the overalls with straw . Staple the openings shut .
6 . Lastly , paint the eyes , nose , and mouth on the head .
