RENEE JORDAAN Operations Director
With over 20 years of experience in the sporting events industry, Renee has served as Race Director at some of South Africa’ s most iconic events, including the Comrades Marathon, Cape Town Cycle Tour, and Cape Town Marathon. Each one has taught her something new about balancing operational planning with the energy and emotion that make these events unforgettable. Running has always been her first love, because she has experienced firsthand the sacrifices it takes to participate in an ultra marathon. She is passionate about creating world-class experiences that not only meet the needs of athletes, but also give sponsors and stakeholders meaningful ways to connect and inspire.
GLYN BROOMBERG Compliance & Safety Director
Glyn is an event operations and compliance specialist with over 20 years’ experience. This includes working on local and international events in South Africa as well as Europe and the Middle East. For the past five years, his focus has been more on the safety and compliance elements of events, having worked on a number of international events such as Formula E, Springbok Test Matches, SA20XX and a number of music concerts and festivals. Joining the Stillwater Sports Team is a culmination of his years of experience within events, and offers him the opportunity to bring his expertise to the TTOM across operations and compliance.
AGNE DU PLESSIS Commercial Specialist
After more than 20 years working in mass participation sports, Agne now brings her expertise in project management to the TTOM event. In previous years she has helped shape some of South Africa’ s most iconic running events, including Stillwater Sports’ RUN YOUR CITY Series and the Totalsports Women’ s Races, as well as events in several neighbouring countries. Agne is passionate about creating memorable participant experiences and constantly looks for ways to innovate in the events she works on. This shines through particularly in running events, as she is an avid runner who has taken part in many events herself, fuelling her passion for creating inspiring experiences for participants.
