Clubs and Committees of Jefferson School
By: Nkechi Okafor
We can all agree that Jefferson School is run by the students, not the teachers. There are so many clubs and committees that students can choose from. Here are the clubs and committees of Jefferson Elementary School.
Student School Improvement Panel: a group of students who look over the suggestions that other students make.
Student Lighthouse Committee: One student from each homeroom joins other students to discuss events taking place in Jefferson, such as Leadership Day.
Kindness Committee: formed by students, one representative from each homeroom come up with ideas to spread love and kindness around the school.
Newsletter Writers Committee: students who write articles for Jefferson’s online newsletter.
Student Booster Committee: a group of students that come up with fund raising ideas to raise money for Leader In Me.
Future S.T.E.(A).M. Event Committee: students who think about what the upcoming S.T.E.(A).M. fair is going to be about and what the students are going to do.
Like I said, Jefferson School is run by students. And you can see that too!
