That helped her transition from student in the classroom to teacher in the classroom . And that gave her the confidence to take
another step : a Master ’ s degree in Adult and Technical Education . Then a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration . And , finally , a Ph . D . in Higher Education from Capella University .
Today , Dr . Rhonemus is Bluefield State ’ s Academic Affairs Administrator and also serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer with the Higher Learning Commission

Burton Pizzino is from Wyoming County . He is also a recovering drug addict .
He explains , “ The first few semesters were rough and during this period I began to drink and misuse drugs and take some of the sting away from the hardships of classes .
