Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary sits nestled between rocky mountains in Petros, TN.

The prison also has two restaurants: The Warden’ s Table, which serves up southern staples like barbecue and fried pickles, and Parolee’ s, where pizza is the main course. After lunch or dinner, visitors can enjoy a moonshine and liquor taste-testing from Brushy’ s distillery, End of the Line and then shop for souvenirs in the gift shop.
Brushy also hosts concerts and recently opened an RV park for traveling guests.
