Space Station Vacation 6 / 5-6 / 9 3, 2, 1 … Blast off! Campers learn about the solar system through hands-on activities involving the planets, stars, sun and moon. Make moon rocks, eat space food, create rockets, and tour a planetarium. Please note: field trip may change based on availability.
Around the World 6 / 12-6 / 16 Get your passport stamped as campers“ travel” around the world learning about different cultures and countries and the accompanying customs through games, crafts and food. Campers track their travels daily and celebrate international traditions and diversity.
Mad Science 6 / 19-6 / 23 Fizzing, bubbling, exploding and more! Summer camp turns into a science lab this week with hands-on experiments such as making your own ooey-gooey slime, cooking science, and much more. The Mad Scientist even pays camp a visit for a day.
First Responders 6 / 26-6 / 30 There are everyday heroes all around us and this week campers learn about all the amazing things these dedicated men and women do to keep us safe. Participants learn about firefighters, lifeguards, EMTs and more. One of the Park District’ s water park lifeguards will teach campers about water safety. Field trips include treks to the Bloomingdale police and fire departments.
