Why This Magazine Was Created

Minecraft is an ever growing community of Social Engagement that has stretched far beyond what the creator of Minecraft originally thought possible. In fact, Minecraft was meant to be a small project that ballooned into a massive network. It's not just a network of people, it's a network of gamers, fathers, mothers, children, all joining together into a gaming experience that is like no other. An experience that has granted these families the quality time that so many seek to spend with their children. To the community, Minecraft is a great thing, something that allows them to unleash their creativity, collaboration skills, and much needed leadership skills. Something the current education system is actually lacking. Notch never imagined it would turn into something like this
Therefor, this Magazine was created with the intent of driving that Social Engagement up even further. It doesn't matter if you're a Writer, Construction Worker, Architecture, Farmer, or just working at Wal-mart, Minecraft has built up a community of all walks of life and we'd like to see it continue even further.
If people can come together to play Minecraft, then what else can we do as a civilization? We are the Human Race, a remarkable people capable of coming together for wonderous things. Let's keep building that community, let's keep putting Social back into Social Networking.
