Q. Can you share one of your most memorable wedding stories?
A. A couple once had their dream cruise wedding canceled just two weeks before the big day. Devastated but determined, they came to us— and with less than 14 days to plan, we created a celebration that was absolutely perfect. It taught me that weddings— and life— can be unpredictable, but love always finds its perfect moment.
Q. What’ s your favorite location on the property for weddings and why? A. The oceanfront gazebos. They frame the couple beautifully with the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop. At sunset, it’ s simply breathtaking.
Q. What’ s the best time of year for a wedding here, and why?
A. Punta Cana is beautiful year-round, but many couples prefer late fall through spring for the most comfortable weather and stunning sunsets.
Q. How far in advance should couples book to get their preferred date? A. I recommend booking at least 12 to 18 months in advance, especially if the couple has a specific date in mind or is planning a large celebration. Popular months fill up quickly!
Q. What is the most common mistake couples make when planning a destination wedding?
A. Bringing too many items from home. People think that coordinating décor and entertainment abroad will be difficult, so they end up stressing when they don’ t have to. In reality, we have a menu of curated options and trusted vendors to make it seamless. From flowers to live music, it’ s much easier than most expect.
Q. How do you help couples incorporate their personal style?
A. We start by listening to their vision, their story and what’ s most important to them. From there, we customize every detail from décor colors to menu choices, so their personality shines through. From cultural traditions to favorite cocktails and custom playlists, we are skilled at finding ways to make each celebration truly unique. ◆
