t is the festive season
month and here I am a
young woman who knows
less about rap, preparing to
have an interview with Mizo
Phyll, the hip hop superstar
who paved a way for all young
upcoming Venrap artist to be
recognized and has perform
with huge well known
international artist and is
hosting Venda Nga December
on the 24th of December
2015 one of the biggest event
of the year in Venda.
As I email him the interview
questions, I wonder if Mizo
Phyll will be open or guarded,
friendly or merely tolerant.
With all the hoopla about his
biggest event
“VendaNgaDecemba”, which is
an annual event that takes
place in Nandoni WaterFront
on the 24th of December and
it is all about giving back all
Venda artists I am sure that is
what he is expecting to talk
about, but I wanted to talk
about more than that, I want
to crack the door open to get
to his soul and get a sense of
who Mizo Phyll Livhuwani
