Walther PPQ M2 5” Barrel
New for 2014, Walther Firearms introduces its new 5-inch barrel version labeled the PPQ
M2 5”. Chambered in either 9mm or .40 S&W, the PPQ M2 5” features a striker fire action with a smooth Quick Defense Trigger. Its pre-cocked and constant trigger pull is 5.6
pounds (25 N) for greater control and accuracy. Each PPQ M2 series comes standard with
three different grip back straps to custom fit the firearm to the user’s hands. With its sleek
design, matte black finish, and ergonomical Walther grip, this is an ideal competition gun but would also be a good
choice for personal protection. To reduce weight and increase balance, the barrel housing has cosmetic vents. With
an overall length of 8.1 inches and a barrel length of 5 inches, this lightweight German-engineered pistol is perfect for
either right or left handed shooters as the traditional button magazine release is reversible and easily accessed from a
standard grip. It only weighs 23 ounces and has a capacity of 15 rounds for the 9mm model and 11 rounds for the .40
S&W version. Safety is paramount as the PPQ M-series pistols have 3 automatic safeties and optional 3-dot metal sights.
