In November, 2011, three men who were involved with the Tukabatchee Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, saw a need to help improve the shooting sports program and interest level for the young boys and girls that were participating in Boy Scout Troops and Venture Scout Crews and decided to start a small business, Small Arms Training Consultants, LLC (SAT-C), to be a leader in bringing back a strong training program to provide responsible and safe shooting sports activities.
