In May , nearly 150 women gathered for Blank Rome ’ s Sixth Annual Women ’ s Leadership Summit at the Hotel Monaco Philadelphia to “ Reconnect , Renew , Reignite ” powerful and supportive relationships . Participants were excited to return to an in-person format following two years of virtual Summits . As usual , the Summit convened enthusiastic Blank Rome hosts , engaged in-house counsel and C-suite guests , and insightful and inspiring speakers .
Our speakers included :
• Alison Levine , a world-class mountaineer , bestselling author , and leadership advisor who presented “ On the Edge : Leadership Lessons from Everest and Other Extreme Environments .”
• Erika James , dean of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Gina Passarella , editor-in-chief of The American Lawyer , who discussed “ Leading Under Pressure : Developing Leaders for Disruptive Change ” in a fireside chat .
• Charisse R . Lillie , CEO of CRLCONSULTING LLC , businesswoman , attorney , lecturer , and consultant
• Sara Toussaint , partner and managing director of Underdog Venture Team
• Dr . Karen Kahn , Ed . D . PCC , founder and managing partner of Threshold Advisors , LLC , who led an interactive and supportive “ Ask and Give ” experience .
In addition , “ Woman Giving Back ” is a Women ’ s Leadership Summit tradition of highlighting and supporting worthwhile , national nonprofit organizations focused on women and girls . In 2022 , we proudly supported the Girl Scouts of the United States of America . Several women at our firm hold leadership positions with local Girl Scout Councils . •
