EOIs open for $ 450,000 local infrastructure grants in Mount Druitt
Expressions of interest( EOIs) are now open for the NSW Government’ s Community Building Partnership( CBP) grants program, with $ 450,000 available for projects in Mount Druitt.
The $ 41 million program supports local organisations and councils across the state to deliver facilities that help create more vibrant and inclusive communities.
Not-for-profit community organisations and local councils are invited to submit an EOI for grants ranging from $ 10,000 to $ 100,000 to bring local projects to life.
In Mount Druitt, priority will be given to projects that strengthen community infrastructure and support multicultural communities and new migrants. This includes upgrades to community centres, places of worship and cultural hubs.
Funding will also support projects that promote healthy, active lifestyles through improved sporting and recreational facilities, as well as infrastructure for children, young people and people with disability.
Initiatives that enhance community wellbeing, safety and resilience— such as accessibility upgrades, improved lighting, shade and climate-responsive infrastructure— are also encouraged.
This year, the 2026 CBP grants round will follow a two-stage application process, beginning with an expression of interest.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 8 May. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the end of June 2026, with successful projects announced in early 2027.
Member for Mount Druitt, Edmond Atalla MP, said the program delivers meaningful outcomes for the local community.
“ The Community Building Partnership program is designed to fund projects that make a real difference— from refurbishing sports grounds and clubhouses to improving community halls and public spaces,” he said.
“ With $ 450,000 available across Mount Druitt, this funding can support facility upgrades, building works and new equipment that strengthen our local community.
“ I encourage not-for-profit organisations with ideas to improve local infrastructure to submit an expression of interest before 8 May.”
Since 2009, the CBP program has awarded more than $ 505 million to over 22,400 community projects across NSW.
