The event started in 2006 and it success has deemed it is now in its nineteenth year . The Hawkesbury Cup Day ( Stand Alone meeting ) features some of Australia ’ s best trainers , jockeys and horses .

The massive 10 race program offers over $ 1.8 million in prize money , highlighted by the Group 3 $ 250,000 Richmond Club Hawkesbury Gold Cup

over 1600m . Alongside all the racing action , there will be a lot to see and do off the track . Live music will keep the crowds entertained . Firm favourite Furnace & The Fundamentals will be the feature entertainers , taking over the main stage straight after the cup .
