It ’ s all happening in November . We ’ ve opened up with COVID-19 restrictions easing , we can shop in person , send the kids to school , visit loved ones , work without a mask ( in most cases ) and the weather is warming up – perfect for outdoor fun with family and friends exploring our area ’ s parks , restaurants , shops and museums .
We have so much to look forward to now after months of lockdown and it ’ s all thanks to you . Vaccination rates for our city have been fantastic , with our local members of parliament and businesses thankful and humbled by the support you ’ ve shown for the safety and wellbeing of everyone . It was never just about the individual – it ’ s about the whole community moving forward .
Our story on p9 about the new COVID-19 treatment at Mount Druitt hospital shows how dedicated our health professionals and community are about ensuring the safety of our population , particularly our most vulnerable .

This month RSL NSW urges you to ‘ Remember to Remember ’. At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we pay tribute , commemorate and honour men and women who ’ ve lost their lives in war and continue to protect us and defend our country . Wherever you are and whatever you ’ re doing please take a minute to pause and reflect on Remembrance Day . See p8 .
