What we mean is that if you are pursuing a dream that will benefit you, then it is a decision that should include your life partner. However, if you are running from something, specifically your marriage, then you need to address that issue before you move abroad.

Can I get a job overseas if I don't have a degree? It seems as if everyone who is abroad has a degree in something, but I want the chance to live abroad too!

All of us are born with some gift or talent that can be applied to a global context. However, it would be irresponsible of us to suggest that it is easy to find a job overseas without a degree. Do your research. We have many digital nomads, entrepreneurs, etc. Find what you can do and where.
