E: [email protected] Federation Cynologique Internationale Standards Commission Scientific Commission Place Albert 1er 13 B - 6530 Thuin Subject: request for full recognition of Tornjak Dear Standards and Scientific Commissions members, We are using this opportunity to send you this letter together with Kinološki Savez u Bosni i Hercegovini to make final recognition of breed. 2017 is exactly ten years since Tornjak has been recognized on provisional basis by the FCI. Refering the data collected during these ten years we find this enough to make request for final recognition. This includes more then 10000 specimens entered in our studbooks. When we count to it also 500 Tornjaks worldwide adding their nice temperament and good health condition we think that this breed fulfilled conditions for its definitive recognition. Mr. Jorgen Hindse and Mr. Rui Oliveira were assigned by the FCI General Committee to examine homogeneity of the breed and its conformation to the breed standard as well as behaviour. They have done it during the International dog showa held on 26/27. of November 2016 in Zagreb, Croatia and we think they were very satisfied.
