Frost A man and his wife purchased an old home in Northern New York State from two elderly sisters. Winter was fast approaching and the year’s first snow came early and the wife was concerned about the house's lack of insulation. "If they could live here all those years, so can we!" the husband confidently declared. One November night, the temperature plunged to below zero, and the couple woke up to find the interior walls covered with frost. The husband called the sisters to ask how they had kept the house warm. After a rather brief conversation, he hung up. "For the past 30 years," he muttered, "they've gone to Florida for the winter." Ridiculous Riddle Lost! REALLY lost! (Penguins live in the South Pole.) Just Joking!! Continued from cover Students progress through the program one course at a time and learn through the interactive online system. In addition to writing papers and analyzing topics, students also interact with their peers and exchange ideas. The degree is affordable as it is far cheaper than many schools and students can also qualify for FAFSA grants or loans. Seven students in the Yeshiva Gedolah have already begun a Business degree in their own cohort. Rabbi Lerner stated that, “I am excited to partner with Ateres Yaakov to provide a great service for their talmidim and to continue to build upon the tremendous opportunity we have created for students to earn a degree that works for them.” Note: Interested students from outside of the yeshiva can also join the program by speaking to Ateres Yaakov’s Registrar and College Liaison for the program, Mr. Chaim Homnick. He can be reached at 305-321-3342.
