For thousands of years, the land of Anatolia has been hosting
countless different cultures and civilizations. Today, it is still possible
to trace all these cultures. The Hatti civilization, whose history
dates back to 2500 BC and the Hittite civilization, known as the
civilization with a thousand dioses, are two important civilizations
that influenced many cultures that existed in Anatolia. Hattusa, the
capital city of the Hittite civilization, is a big city founded on an area
of hundreds of square meters. From hieroglyphs to cuneiform scripts,
from cult objects used in temples to sphinxes erected at castle gates,
and even to the cyclopean type brick masonry, the similar of which
we see in Inca civilization thousands of years later, thousands of
unique pieces of art are awaiting you. After Hattusa, our next stop
is in Amasya, founded along the River Yeşilırmak, one of the longest
rivers of Anatolia. Rock tombs of the Pontic kings, the Archeological
Museum where mummies are exhibited, and the Medical and
Surgical Museum, which was used as a hospital in the 14th Century,
