The Bar at Migas
The Bar was probably conceived when somebody at Migas had a dream in which a siheyuan was dropped on a 798 gallery. The result is an interesting design that will delight arty, hip Beijingers. The classic cocktail list offers martinis, mojitos, margaritas and daiquiris, with a few house specials. A small but varied beer list is also available. With an intimately sized dance floor and a schedule which includes nights from local stalwarts, The Bar at Migas encourages the sense that Beijing's party scene is in rude health.

White table cloths and proper dinner settings give the restaurant a classy feel, but the bustle of people and the service style are reminiscent of any local diner. Most main courses cost ¥40-45 while seafood dishes (especially those using rare fish) are more expensive at ¥90-120. Kirin beer is offered at a mere ¥18 for a 640mL bottle, while other alcohol is equally cheap.A good place to go when you’re seeking a more fashionable atmosphere but don’t want to blow the budget.
