HOLIDAY ORNAMENT WREATH
If you ’ re looking to replace your current door wreath , why not upcycle some leftover ornaments , a wire hanger , and a holiday bow to create a gorgeous holiday ornament wreath ? To begin , shape the wire hanger into a circle and then open the circle by unwinding the metal bit at the top . Next , grab your leftover ornaments and slide them onto the wire . Remember , the order in which you add them will determine the final pattern . Then once your wire wreath is full of ornaments , you can reclasp the top part and add a bow to hide the hanger . Now , it ’ s ready to sit proudly on your front door and welcome your holiday guests !
PICKLE JAR HOLIDAY TERRARIUM
Want an eye-catching , personalized decoration this holiday season that doesn ’ t break the bank ? Why not try out this Pickle Jar Holiday Terrarium craft idea ! First , grab an old pickle jar and remove the label .
Then , layer the bottom with some white sand for structure and some faux snow for that holiday texture . Now , it ’ s time to add the personalized details ! You could incorporate some fake , snow-crested trees , maybe some small plastic wildlife , and your favorite holiday picture . Finish off this craft with a bow around the top of the jar , and if you ’ re feeling extra fancy , you can also add some bells and greenery to complete the decoration .
STRING CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION
You know those fancy string Christmas tree decorations you find at TJ Maxx or Marshalls ? Well , we ’ re going to make them at home for a fraction of the cost . All you need is a Styrofoam cone ( in the shape of a tree ), wax paper , crochet thread , mod podge , a sponge brush , and adhesive gem rhinestones ( optional ). Start by covering the cone in wax paper before tying the crochet thread to the top of the cone . Then begin winding the thread down the shape while using the sponge brush to add the mod podge adhesive . Repeat this process until the entire cone is covered in thread with a layer of mod podge . Leave this to dry , preferably overnight , and then remove the cone from the thread ( it should come off easily because of the wax paper ) and finish it off with the adhesive rhinestone gems . Create a forest of string Christmas tree decorations to proudly display on your mantle this holiday season !
From our family to yours , we want to wish you a safe and happy holiday season !
