DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING C ivil Engineers shape the histories and destinies of every nation. As the technological revolution expands, as the world's population increases, and as environmental concerns mount, there is a paramount need for the civil engineers throughout the world. Civil Engineering offers a wide range of career choices. Since its inception in 2001, the Department works hand-in-hand with construction firms to impart value-based education to the students. A dedicated team of highly qualified members of faculty impart technical knowledge as well as hands-on training to the students on Surveying, Planning, Analysis, Design, and Cost Estimation of Civil Engineering structures including Prefabricated, Prestressed, and Industrial structures through intensive practical classes. In addition mini projects in each semester, major projects, design projects, internships, survey camps and field visits are also offered thereby enhancing the employability potential of students abundantly. In order to inculcate the continuous learning among students, one-credit courses and self study courses are also offered.
