Covid 19 means corona global pandemic, an unprecedented crisis for the human race, will the global crisis destroy the existence of the human race? This fear made the ruling elites (Governments) abruptly triggered all over the world. Never before in the history of the world has so much human love been flaunted by the respective governments. Previously, millions of people died in the world without clean water, air, food, medicine and other basic amenities. Never before has there been such a widespread sensitivity about human life on a global level. But after using microscopic lenses about the instantaneous awareness created on uniform solution to global corona infection by the respective governments, media and the social media and after glanced on measures taken during previous pandemics and elderly people’s experiences taken into account, has the corona really become a greatest challenge to human existence than previous pandemics? It is natural to raise a doubt for any person having scientific temperament. This steered to the study and reflection on the Covid-19 and lockdown. My mother, Prayagbai, has witnessed many pandemics likes plague, cholera and other contagious diseases since pre-independence times. As per her version, in the year 1957, the death rate of elderly people above the age of 60 years was higher in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State in India. During the period, the cause of death of the elderly people was the disease but it was not a specific pandemic. There is no information available at the government level about this. Then, out of curiosity, I began to study. The virtual high incidence of deaths of people infected with Covid 19 disease in short term and the long-term lockdown as a preventive measure seemed incomprehensible, and I was later inspired by the mother's discussion; though there was limitation to human movement during the lockdown but gave impetus to intellectual thinking. Along with study and reflection, Dr. Vishwaroop Rai Chowdhury wrote an article on Covid 19 and lockdown based on his discussion on social media. But the global crisis caused by the ruling media was so great that to write a single word against them would be termed as a sedition and treason, creating such fears throughout the world, on the backdrop of it, there was scepticism that who would publish the Hire Lekhmala. Yet the discoveries of science were made by the scientists of the time for the welfare of humankind, regardless of the majority and the established order. The thinkers brought about political and social change through ideological revolution without maintaining the dignity of the established system in their writings. Socrates, Galileo is our role model. Therefore, an attempt has been made to write in the place of absolute conscience when it comes time to take a glass of poison or be sentenced to death.
