Friends, these are not normal times. The days ahead are not going to be as easy or as normal. Tumultuous days. Transition days. With the kind of developments that are taking place, with the tomorrow holding many uncertainties, we have to be ready ourselves and brace up for many eventualities. We are going to see a new world order with World being ruled by a rich and elite class. With your freedom curtailed and getting reduced to almost nothing.
These incidences were happening in such a rapid succession and at such a fast pace that we had to abandon the idea of a leisurely monthly magazine and switch over to a fortnightly.
We also had to come down from our ivory towers of catering to only the elite and English speaking audience and start addressing the common folk in their own native tongue. This we did by opening up sections in regional languages. Right now we have started only with Hindi, Marathi and Urdu sections but soon we have plans to extend it to other languages as well.
We are on the lookout for smart editors for regional languages who will be willing to work independently and shoulder the entire responsibility on to their shoulders. Responsibility of gathering of information to publishing it. Just akin to an independent journalist. In this they can make a gradual transition by deciding to start with only a few pages but growing gradually in to a full-fledged magazine section. Initially enough help will be offered from our side but soon they will be expected to grow and take over and work stand on their shoulders. We want to hand them over full reigns of the magazine section and work with full freedom and full responsibility.
