Thoughts of Lord Mahavira and Mahatma Gandhi are needed

About two and a half thousand years ago, Lord Mahavira realized that human power, lust for wealth, and luxurious way of life were causing damage to nature and endangering the entire ecosystem. Therefore, he gave up the monarchy and showed the way to the Indian society to live a life complementary to nature. Among the 5 principles of Lord Mahavira, the principle of non-violence is the most important. Not only man but all the micro-organisms, animals and plants on earth have the right to live. If other creatures in the universe lived, man would live. Man is the trustee of this creation because of his intellect. Lord Mahavira believed great philosophy that man's behavior should be like that of a trustee. In the history of modern India, even Mahatma Gandhi had recognized the future effects of exploitation of nature through mechanization. He gave the mantra of self-reliance and limited needs to every person. The message was to go to the village by rewarding the traditional agricultural culture. Using the weapon of non-violence of Lord Mahavira, he freed the Indians from the British slavery. Today, in the new world order that is emerging after the global crisis of corona, the way of life of Lord Mahavira and Mahatma Gandhi will gain importance. Throughout history, we have perpetuated our great culture and way of life in a hypocritical, religious, ethnic and superstitious manner, resulting in the disruption of the ancient Indian way of life.

Today, like the heroism of Lord Mahavira, the affluent sections of the society should take up the role of sacrifice.
