Chasing the elusive biotech dreams!

There has been a paradigm shift in the way education system in India used to function in early 80s and now. The theoretical knowledge has been replaced by the focus on skills and more practical oriented teaching methodologies. Even grading systems have evolved. Subsequently, the rise of biotechnology as a promising subject was followed by concerned parents telling their wards to go for it as the job prospects would be even bigger than IT. Well was it just a wishful thinking or some hope is left for aspiring students? Perceptions are an important factor to shape this sector. In this much relevant context, the BioVoice has recently launched a perception survey for biotech students based in India and abroad. It is aimed at getting direct feedback from students on how they really feel about being a part of biotech ecosystem.
