In February 2023 , Thyrocare adopted SigTuple ’ s AI100 to automate the microscopic review in its laboratories in a bid to better leverage its clinical expertise and drive quality reporting across its centres .
In April 2023 , the company partnered with Molbio Diagnostics , developer of the Truenat RT-PCR platform and a leader in the field of portable testing devices to build next generation AI enabled portable devices for many routines but critical diagnostic tests . These devices will enable testing to be performed at the point-of-care – a doctor ’ s chamber , a public health
centre , or an emergency room of a hospital – without having to send samples to central laboratories .
In October 2023 , the company ’ s pathbreaking device AI100 with Shonit ( Peripheral blood smear application ) has received U . S . FDA 510 ( k ) clearance . This is the first integrated hardware and AI medical device , and the first product in AI assisted digital microscopy from India to obtain the coveted clearance . It automates one of the last remaining pieces of manual processes in a clinical laboratory – that of microscopic review of blood samples to detect various diseases .
