Redcliffe Labs appoints Dr Prashant Nag as COMO to enhance clinical operations & excellence

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics( ICRISAT) congratulated Dr Mangi Lal Jat on his appointment as Director General of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research( ICAR) and Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education( DARE) under the Ministry of
Redcliffe Labs announced the appointment of Dr. Prashant Nag as its Chief Operating & Medical Officer( COMO). With two decades of experience in diagnostic operations, pathology, and clinical strategy, Dr. Nag’ s vision aligns seamlessly with Redcliffe’ s purpose to give India its right to Quality Diagnostics.
At Redcliffe Labs, he will spearhead clinical operations, supply chain, quality governance, regulatory compliance, and medical innovation, reinforcing the company’ s commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
Dr. Nag, an esteemed alumnus of AIIMS Delhi, where he completed his senior residency in Laboratory Medicine, holds an MD in Pathology from the GMC, Surat. His illustrious career includes pivotal roles in India’ s top diagnostic networks across the country, leading nationwide operations.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Government of India, approved Dr Jat’ s appointment on 17 April 2025 for a period of three years. Prior to this, Dr Jat served as Global Research Program Director-Resilient Farm and Food Systems at ICRISAT, where he played a pivotal role in advancing climate-resilient agricultural innovations.
Dr Jat is a globally respected Systems Agronomist with over 25 years of experience in systems science across the developing world.
