PUBLISHER’S note
Six months ago this magazine was birthed with the help of some incredible women.
So for this issue we pay tribute to Barbadian women everywhere.
As publisher of this magazine I work side by side with a fine example of a professional
Barbadian woman. Our Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Rachelle Gray is a woman of many talents
and facets. She took the concept of this magazine and made it better, proving that
a woman’s touch is always good. So as we celebrate the Barbadian woman I salute
you Ms. Gray.
In the same vain special thanks goes to co-founder and editor Trixie Kiddo who puts
in a great deal of work behind the scenes. I must also say thanks to Ms. Gigi Farier
and Lady Victoria as we affectionately call her. These two women bring their style
and personality to the magazine, adding that special sass that resonates with our
readers and viewers.
It’s been half a year since BimROCK’s inception and it has flown by. We have
grown quite a bit. This publication has established itself as a credible, serious and
important contributor to the literary landscape of Barbados; and while we cherish
our accomplishments thus far we know we have just begun. There is still much work
to be done.
Six months gone; looking forward to many more.
