PUBLISHER’S note
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year already. Seems like just yesterday we
were teasing you with the first shots from BimROCK, 12 issues later and it’s been an
incredible ride. I’ve met some fantastic people, people I’ve looked up to for years,
made some incredible friends along the way as well and collaborated with talented
people.
All in all it’s been an memorable experience and I would like to thank everyone who
played a part in it. Over the months we have been through many changes, parted
ways with team members and added more people to the family. We expanded to
television with the help of Trident10 TV and grown our online presence. I’ve learned
a lot both from successes and failures.
One year already. Happy Anniversary BimROCK, I know it’s only the beginning. In
the same breath, I must say Happy 49th Inpendence to Barbados. It’s been quite a
year for us as a country also. We’ve seen many changes and made good advances in
developing the creative sector.
I look forward to next year and our celebration of 50 years as a sovereign state, a
momentous occasion for us all.
