on classes secondarily. It was an incredibly rigorous schedule. Some other universities I spoke to
were able offer Solar Decathlon classes in lieu of
other courses or suspend other courses. Any relief
you can offer students to work on Solar Decathlon
will be a major benefit to them and the project. It
was without a doubt the best learning experience
of my academic life.
15) How did you manage to continue the project along
your curriculum?
This is mostly answered in question #13. My regular curriculum courses suffered somewhat in order
to concentrate on Solar Decathlon. I was able to
take classes and work on the project, but it would
be much nicer to integrate the two together.
14) What kind of courses did you attended to support
the project?
I answered this above in question #5. The more
classes that can be devoted to Solar Decathlon the
better. It depends in large part on faculty and university support for the project.
