BIKERS CLUB | MAGAZINE As a medical person, I am well aware about the medicines for chota mota pain or health issues and I always carry one first aid kit with some needed medicines. So I took one and for a moment I detached myself from the group to do some stretching with the help of Naren.. He gave me some massage on my neck. Kya hua sirji... Gale mai pain hai kyaaa... A sudden voice came from behind, we looked there, he was a chowkidar of that dhaba. Sirji... Mujhe try karne do... konsa bhi dard ho.. mai 1 minute mai thik kar sakta hu... Looking at his confidence I thought to let him give it a try. I don't know what he did.. but he told me to loosen up my neck, he then moved my neck round and left and right and with pressing one vein he swiftly turned my neck to right and then left with some jerk, I could hear the sound of nitrogen bubbles cracking between my neck bones, and just within a second I felt relief.. My neck pain reduced to 1%. I thanked him and said... Kya baat hai bhai-saahab... tumne toh chamtkaar hee kar diya.. Now, I call this is an experience. In India we live in a Jhugaad. Don't misunderstand me with the word Jhugaad, in-fact this term is a biggest discovery of India. None of the developed country could manage to find What jhugaad is ? Jhugaad is not easy to discover, it comes to you only with lot of experience... Only an Indian would understand this. We Indians have some or the other Jhugaad in our lives and believe me many of the times it works better than any of the western world technology & research. We thought it would be a quick pit stop but it stretched up to almost 2 hours and then we resumed our ride at about 10:30 am. As usual in the pattern - I was at the tail with Saket and this time Naren was leading the group. A leader should have the quality to be calm & compose to lead on a such a long ride so Sometimes it was Naren and sometimes Praveen, there were some patches where other riders too have lead us. but as for me I always prefer tail to make sure everyone rides well and because of the respect, all UNIDOS knows ki dada peeche hai, so baraabar chalana hoga.. Woh kya hota hai naa.. in a group rides, aage waale barabar ride karte hote hai.. par peeche waale apni hee masti mai hote hai.. so according to me Leader is very important but tail rider is also equivalent and because of him only group rides in a discipline. Waise leader and tail.. ek sikke ki do baaju hai. And I always prefer Saket with me during my rides in tail.. because his and my riding coordination and style is pretty much in-sync and we do gel and understand each-others signs. So I make sure he rides with me in tail section. As Sun started transiting and hours and kilometers started to pass by but we were hell constant and continuously riding, all were in discipline. UNIDOS and BLACK HAWK rode as one, I was bit relaxed in my neck but not completely out of pain but it was bearable. Kya pata road pe ek alag see kashish thi... hum log Himachal Pradesh enter kar chuke the... with every twist and turns I noticed my UNIDOS were enjoying. As a tail and a free rider I had the privilege to overtake any rider and see their discipline but this time I overtook my UNIDOS not to check their discipline but to see their changed behaviour. I overtook each and every UNIDO and looked at their eyes and body language, they seemed more engaging and serious about that ride which I never saw it before this ride.. I am particularly talking about novice riders who have never participated in long distance rides. I came back to my tail with the satisfaction in my heart.. ki jo har admin karna chahta hai.. chahe koi bhi group ka ho... woh aaj mai mehsoos kar raha tha.. "The Commitment" - Commitment towards the ride, commitment for the admin and a leader, respect for each-other, and a sense of brotherhood. Yeh baate sikhai nahi jaa sakti.. yaa phir samjhayi nahi jaa sakti.. jab tak ki tumhe dil se feel naa ho ki "WE ARE ONE" tab tak brotherhood kya hota hai woh samaj nahi aa sakta. I saw many of my UNIDOS observed how other clubs and individuals came to meet me from different different states and not only that.. they actually stood on the highways with the bottles of water for all the riders and waited in the strong sunlight - just to see us and give water. (Especially I thank Mr. Tejinder and his group for doing that for us).
