a hardcore rider I have met in recent time.
Yes, female riders do face more
challenges in LDR but that's what makes
them better with every successful ride. BC: What's your dream bike and or a
next bike?
SB: I can plan for RE Interceptor twin
as a next bike if get a chance. My
dream bike is Triumph Tiger.
BC: Riding is a risky passion, what do you
want to say about safety measures?
SB: It is a risky passion, one should
always respect the other commuters on
road, using all the riding gears on all the
rides properly will make this passion
more safe, adaptive and enjoyable. BC: Do you think riding motorcycle
brings fame?
SB: Being successful rider brings you
fame but it's not just your rides but it's
the love you earn from the people you
meet while on rides that makes you
positively famous.
BC: What your family feels when you are
on a long distance ride (LDR)? Especially
when you are not reachable?
SB: They have become very much used to
it, It's not like they don't worry but they
stay confident and encouraging on whole
ride because they believe in my riding and
how safely I ride. BC: What's your point of view on
breaking rules in riding or about
disciplinary riding?
SB: Disciplines are must in rides
because it's the passion that is
unforgiving of your inattention or
negligence. But there comes some
incidences when breaking rules
becomes necessity.
BC: Does your family support your riding
passion?
SB: Yes, always.
BC: Do you think riding is an expensive
passion and there are very less bikers
who get sponsorship for their rides?
SB: Riding is definitely an expensive
passion and it's also true that only few
riders manage to get the sponsorships it's
all because of their dedication towards
this very passion.
Still there are hundreds of riders out there
who manage the rides on their own
expenses that to from an average monthly
income.
BC: What do you prefer SOLO ride or
GROUP ride? Why?
SB: I personally prefer solo riding, it has
less burden, less responsibilities, less
challenges and it gives you freedom of
your own decisions; and that is why we
ride, to be free !!
BC: Would you ride a different type of
bike, i.e., Cruiser if you have a sport bike
or Sport bike if you have a Cruiser?
SB: Definitely, though I personally prefer
Cruiser, but I certainly will enjoy riding a
sports bike too.
BC: If you have to pick one protective
gear before hitting on the road, what
would it be? Jacket, Helmet or Glove?
SB: Helmet, so there will be less chances
of lethal harm.
BC: Do you think riding motorcycles
has an advantage over car
commuters?
SB: Yes of course; you don't need to
pay toll taxes, you need to face less
hindrance in traffic. And someone has
said that being in car is like watching a
movie but being on bike is like being
the hero of that movie. And it's true.
BC: What advice do you wish you
knew, when you first started out
riding?
SB: I evolved with each single ride I
have done, fortunately I've not met
with an accident till now. Still I feel I
would have known the importance of
riding gears when I have started riding.
BC: Regarding those who don't
practice ATGATT (ALL THE GEARS
ALL THE TIME), what do you feel about
them? Do you encourage it?
SB: Definitely not. ATGATT is not an
option it's a necessity. Authentic riding
gears are like an investment you do
which returns the investment hundred
folds when you unfortunately get lucky
with road. It's important in terms of
safety and there are people who
observe you and try to imitate you in
the same manner.
BC: When do you think you'll stop
riding? Anytime soon?
SB: Why would I even think of that.
Never...
