BC: How did you start riding?
And how long have you been
riding?
JCD: When I turned 18, first
thing I took was the DL
(Driving License) for two
wheelers. At 44, still very
much fond of riding
motorcycles. BC: Which bike category you
race?
JCD: 2 stroke modified.
BC: How many bikes you
own? Which is your favourite
bike? And why?
JCD: Just one "KX250" now,
which I rode championship
last two years.
My favourite one now is "TVS
RTR 300" which I am riding
for the national
championship this year. It
have got a special smooth
power delivery and it's
suspension is special. BC: What special arrangements
you do when you go for a race?
JCD: I make sure that I eat light
food and good 8 hours sleep
before any race.
BC: Any particular bike you
DISLIKE?
JCD: None.
BC: What made you want to
ride a bike? How did you start
motocross?
JCD: It just came out of the
passion.
BC: Tell us about your first
race?
JCD: Rubber city challenge in
1993. I finished 2nd in the
race.
BC: What type of racer you think
you are? Aggressive or
Conservative?
JCD: I was aggressive, but
nowadays I am conservative.
BC: How many races you have
participated in till now?
JCD: I am not sure, but should
be not less than 500.
BC: How many domestic &
international?
JCD: Around 70 internationals
and balance national.
BC: Wooaahh...
BC: Which is your best race till
now?
JCD: MRF FMSCI National
Supercross championship, last
leg 2018 in Baroda, India, was
my best race till now. I finished
1st but it was a neck to neck
competition. No 14 was leading
from the very first lap, but I got
a chance to lead in lap 4 but I
have to acknowledge No 14 and
No 8 for giving me tough fight.
