Porbandar Rajkot
We then went to Porbandar - A Janmabhumi of
Mahatma Gandhi. We then visited Rajkot for a quick pit stop, where we
had some general discussions with people and some
shops guys.
One thing was pretty clear to both of us during our
ride that wherever we used to get contacts via
anyone, we used to visit them but if we don't get
anything then wherever we used to stop, we used to
go to people and talk about our mission of "SAVE
WATER • SAVE LIFE." We had some general
discussion over here.
Vadodara
We were welcomed by "ROARING RIDERS OF
VADODARA" riders club, run by Mehul Patel in
Vadodara for which we are very thankful to him.
Junagadh
India is so beautiful, we knew that and read it the
books as well, but visiting personally to those places
makes you speechless.
We had many fruitful discussions over here.
One of my riding friend organized our meeting with
Jalaram Society members, of around 20 to 25 people
took the participation in our discussion.
And then in the next morning Me and Darshana were
having tea at one Tea Spot, one of the Police guy
came to us looking at the photos in the news paper
which he was carrying, we got annoyed but then
when he spoke that are we the same couple who's on
a "SAVE WATER • SAVE LIFE" India ride, we said yes
and then he showed us our photo in the news paper
by which we got more motivated to take this mission
head on.
We had a meeting with "TIMES OF INDIA" with the
help of Shweta Sharma who's a rider herself.
We then met Ritu Kaur, who's nicknamed as
bulletqueen of Vadodara.
And then we met Akshay Patra - a NGO who serves
mid-day meal in schools. We visited to their factory
also.
Vadodara added value in our mission.
Daman & Silvasa
By this time we took a quick leisure time in Daman
and sat on the sea shore thinking about the
experiences we got till now. We had some general
discussion at both Daman & Silvasa (One of the UT of
India).
