ISSUE 01 | JANUARY 2020 BC FORUM BIKERS CLUB ® | MAGAZINE | PAGE 48 I hugged her and said Darshana, I am really a proud husband today. Thank you for choosing me as a husband! To let you all know, it was me who was behind Darshana, aur woh mujhe bhaav bhi nahi deti thi, in- fact we used to fight a lot when we were just friends. But as we say, "best friends can be the best partners," and we got married after a few years of friendship. Now that the money was arranged and the route was jotted out, but there was one more hurdle, which was my job. So the next day I went to my school and talked to the authorities about our cause India ride, they supported too and granted me paid leave for 4 months. AB KYA THA... RASTA SAAF THA, AUR HUM BHI TAIYAAR THEY.. . So I took my bike for the service and told the mechanic that make sure you service my bike in such a way that it should survive in all the terrains and all the weathers wherever we ride. With the tip and guidance of my riding brothers of Mathura, I bought some essential spare parts of my Royal Enfield Classic 350 if in-case we need on our mission ride. And finally, we decided to flag off our mission ride on 24th NOVEMBER 2019 from MATHURA. Bharatpur After our flag off we headed for Bharatpur - Rajasthan, where we met the head of Kala Kendra and few housing society people to discuss about our campaign and the measures to "SAVE WATER • SAVE LIFE." When we were planning our route and the campaign, we already had jotted out some pointers and measures to discuss with people, societies and most importantly school students and teachers, wherever we get chance. And thanks to some of my friends who helped me prepare the documentations and stickers of our campaign with our logo and campaign plate on our bike for display. We knew that in the beginning we will not get proper response but slowly people will acknowledge through riders help and social media. Flag Off - 24th November 2019 - Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) Darshana took this responsibility to keep our Facebook Page and Instagram profile updated during our journey. As we in bikers community say "bikers brotherhood" All major riders and clubs in Mathura came to know about our  "SAVE WATER • SAVE LIFE" India ride. And we knew social media plays a big role for awareness nowadays. So we posted our flag off date on our Facebook Page too. With every destination, we started to get responses and connections for our next stop. We knew without people's support and participation it would be difficult for us to reach out to people. And for that Riding Community have played major role to organized everything. The entire night before our flag off went into the preparation and at 10:00 AM in the 24th morning to our surprise the "BRIJ BORN RIDERS CLUB" and it's riders and Admin Mr. Brijesh Yadav himself were already present for the flag off and soon they were joined by my students and some media personal with their cameras. We were not expecting this response. Darshana and I were surprised with shock to see them. They all wished us and did some coordinations with riders in different states and cities to help us out.
