My Journey My Beliefs Corporate World knows me as a MD, Polaris India, Indian Motorcycle India, but my journey was never easy, and I am glad about that because throughout my journey I have learned a lot from numerous ups and downs, many of my decisions were bulls-eye, but some have missed the targets. But that's life, and you can't be right and successful all the time. Nobody can, but it is crucial that you make goals and work on it within the stipulated time. Right or Wrong doesn't matter, but you should practice to make short and long term goals, be it your life, family, and or career. I realized this at my very young age and always tried living with this mindset. I was born in the middle-class family in Varanasi in 1967. My father was a government official; he was honest and principled. Many of my learnings came B I K E R S C L U B ® | www.bikersclub.in From him. I still remember him saying, "Pankaj, be honest in whatever you do, and never bring wrong money home because that money will never prosper you; it will take away a lot from you, and your children will suffer." I have imbibed these lines of his in my mind and always lived on that principle. I was brought up in a religious family in a holy city, but in my childhood, I have traveled a lot because of my father's transferable job and got the opportunity to study in various schools of repute in different cities. I was a versatile student and have received many accolades in sports and singing. Sports helped me to bring out a leader within me and helped me to realize the importance of teamwork and the fundamental lesson it taught me how to fight till the end.
