KARAN

By Bikers Club
BC: How did you start riding ?
And how long have you been
riding ?
KS: I started riding 11 -1 2 years
ago, I first rode to Indore to
Jabalpur 550 kms on my Bajaj
Pulsar 150.
BC: How many bikes you own ?
Which is your favourite bike ?
Why ?
KS: I own four bikes..
Bajaj Pulsar 150, RE Standard
350, RE Himalayan and Bajaj CT
100. Amongst these my
personal favourite bike is RE
Himalayan bcoz of it's easy to
handle, as it's adventure as well
as city motorcycle. And I am a
explorer, so I visit many of
those places where Tar road
doesn't exist, and Himalayan
helps me to explore it more
bcoz of it can run on any
terrain.
BC: Any particular bike you
DISLIKE ?
KS: Suzuki Hayabusa, I don't
feel it's comfortable although
it's engine power is ultimate,
but you can ride this bike on
highways only, not on other
terrains.
BC: What made you want to ride a
bike ? Have you made any long
distance trips with it yet ?
KS: As I mentioned, I am a explorer
and especially a nature's beauty
wherever I could find, I go there and
that's my passion or dream
whatever you can say, so
motorcycles have helped me to fulfil
my dream, bcoz I go to those places
where any other mode of transport
is next to impossible except
motorcycles. I have done many
LDR's to name few Thailand, Nepal,
Ladakh, Bhutan, Spiti-Killar
Kishtwar, Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, 7
sisters.
BC: How do you plan a new ride
? What are the basic things you
keep in your mind when you plan a
new ride ? And how do you select
your routes ?
KS: I do proper plan which includes
the destination, weather, type of
place, routes, proper servicing of
my bike, spare parts management,
required stuffs, tent and instant
meal packets. I like to explore new
routes & places so I basically use
google maps for my route
selections.
