Day 13 | 19th June,
With 12 days of my journey to Leh-Ladakh, now it was a
time for me to return. After spending a last night in
Chushul Valley I headed for Jispa, it was around 300
kms ride.
Day 14 | 20th June,
From Jispa I headed for Rohtang pass to Manali of
around 662 kms.
Day 15 | 21st June,
From Manali to Chandigarh around 300 kms. I again
spent a night at my friend's house.
Day 16 | 22nd June,
From Chandigarh to Jaipur of 500 kms.
Day 17 | 23rd June,
From Jaipur to Indore of around 570 kms, I hit my
hometown after almost a riding of 5000 kms, I returned
back my home, after spending 5500 RS on Fuel, 2000
RS on Food and 2500 RS on Stay (I did stay in some
hotels, where I could not stay in tent, in extreme
conditions), so this how I completed my Leh-Ladakh
riding in just 10,000 RS.
What a ride and a journey it was, I cannot forget this
ride of mine. I have had many long distance rides before
but this was special and mesmerising.
I cannot explain in words, what experience I had in this
journey. You know sometimes, some journeys change
the perception towards life and this was one of them for
me.
You know what's the best things about memories doesn't
matter good or bad, happy or sad, it stays with you forever,
and when the memories were created by you then it's the
best you could do in your lifetime.
Just think when you meet new people in your journey, you
eat, ride, stay, have fun, these all gonna impact your life and
those acquaintances and others life subconsciously.
The best things about travel is that you don't know how your
journey is going to end up, how many people you gonna
meet in your journey and how many friends you gonna be
making, some people will be just a acquaintances or some
will remain with you as a friend for a long long time.
I believe we are born once, then why not to explore the
world which is the beautiful creation of God. A traveller has
a legacy to leave behind for his/her childrens. Life is a
journey and you are a rider, the more you ride the more you
explore, good or bad like roads, but if you are riding that
means you are ALIVE.
That's why I named my this particular ride a
MOTIVATIONAL RIDE, not for others but motivation for
myself and to show the world that not always you require lot
of money and a costly vehicles to travel but if you have
passion then you can ride on 100 CC bike and in just 10,000
RS.
I just realised forgot to mention, I did carry my bike papers
too (jokingly).
