In March 2013 the college invested £ 100,000 in mobile technology for students , this saw the college purchasing : 118 Asus 14 ” laptops ; 110 Toshiba 15.6 ” laptops ; 120 Zoostorm Playtab 10.1 ” tablets . All 338 devices have been made available for students to borrow from our college libraries and from the Creative Media dept . This model can be seen as a pilot for how technology will be used in the future across our college . It is important then , that we get useful feedback from students – here ’ s a selection so far . |

GO Make A Difference is a framework for getting things done . It is focussed on achieving goals . All senior staff at Bradford College have been trained in the principles of GO-Mad . The Shifting Pedagogies GO-Mad group has a clear goal to move pedagogy in order to move into the new building ; the group is sponsored by Ronan O ’ Beirne and has 20 staff who are engaged in the practical aspects of achieving this goal . GO-Mad is well-established , their website explains further :
“… we are passionate about inspiring people to make a difference , helping individuals , teams , organisations and communities to achieve measurable results .” “ Everything we do is based on the Go M . A . D .® Framework , a solution focused thinking system comprising of seven principles and 11 connecting links . Developed after 4,000 hours of research into the question ‘ What is the simplest way of explaining the success process people naturally use when making a difference ?’ When applied this powerful and very practical thinking system greatly increases the likelihood of making measurable differences .”
